Pumpkin Hats

The chill of fall is in the air, and I've been eager to get started knitting some warm autumn gear for the kids. I ordered some wool off of etsy.com and it arrived Thursday. It was so gorgeous that I couldn't wait to get started working with it.
The green wool is 100% Peruvian Worsted Wool, hand-dyed by J Irby Designs in their "Aborvitae" colorway.
The orange wool is handspun wool and mohair (70% wool, 30% mohair) in "Spices" by The Flying Ewe.
Also pictured above are the size 4 DPNs that I ordered from Plum Knit Supply to finish the soaker I am knitting for Kennedy.
I knitted pumpkin hats for both Parker and Kennedy! They turned out SO CUTE! The hats are pictured below. I don't have pictures of the hats on the kids yet, but will take some soon! They'll be wearing these when we go to the pumpkin patch this year!
